Ah, this takes me back, I used to watch this all the time. Also the first time I ever heard 'Cut In Half Blues', one of my favourite Beck tracks! I love the clip of Beck rocking the harmonica solo of 'One Foot In The Grave'... oh, Farm Boy.. are there any bootleg videos from the MG tour?

Thanks for posting those videos. I just recently got Mellow Gold myself. I found this blog with a ton of rare early Beck posted so I thought I'd share it you all: http://guerolitomusic.blogspot.com/search/label/beck

I never liked the melody of 'Steve Threw Up', but the lyrics are hilarious. I like 'Mexico' better, for Steve-related lyrics. Some of his best songs come from around the Mellow Gold era though, 'Goin Nowhere Fast', 'RTD', 'Banjo', 'Heartland Feeling', 'Modesto'..

Yeah Beck used to be one badass truck drivin mother fucker.
I'm going to set my acoustic guitar on fire at a show. I know the place to do it too. It's settled. |
