‘SIMON WERNER A DISPARU’ Soundtrack!

Sonic Youth have recorded the soundtrack to the film Simon Werner a Disparu, directed by Fabrice Gobert.
The film will be shown at this year’s Cannes film festival in May.

I would think so. It's another way to make a buck. The sndtk for Made in the USA was excellent. So I certainly look forward to this one being great as well. Given the creepiness of the subject matter....

Dam they sure have been busy the last 2 years.....

During preproduction, I listed to Sonic Youth a lot. There was something that really fit the world of the film, something
that just felt right that came from the strength, originality and melancholy that emanate from their songs. The
producers and I started dreaming of them composing the music. We contacted them, without expectations, and to
my great delight they were interested.

I was just about to ask for an update on this. I've been looking in France earlier this month... It would be crazy to have SY do a soundtrack without releasing it
