it's a sad day for cinema.
i will watch wild strawberries tonight as well. he was an astounding man, a prolific artist, a profound philosopher and someone who showed a rare understanding of human behaviour. EDIT: my sig. seems beautifully relevant...

What a great man. No filmmaker has made films that touched me so deeply that I would begin crying midway through without even knowing why.
We shouldn't be sad though. So much of him is in his films. In that sense he'll keep entertaining, moving and sharing with us and never die. |
