I used to be able to pay instantly - even if I didn't have funds in my PayPal account, it would do it instantly. But now it takes 5-7 working days to process. This seriously pisses me off, because most of the time I see something pop up on eBay, it only has a few days left, then you get bad feedback for not paying instantly. Wah wah wah.

when i use paypal it takes 2-3 days to go through, but it still counts as an instant payment. i'm guessing you put money in your paypal account and you pay that way, which i never do. the money comes directly from my bank account. even when i sell stuff, i transfer it into my bank account right when i get it.

Have you removed a credit card or other back-up funding source from your account?

Ahh well apparently it was an "eCheque" which is apparently instant payment. It still takes ages to come out of your account though.
It still annoys me that you have to wait for eCheques to clear. |
