Do you think you can listen to all my recordings? If you can, go to www.zbiralisce4.com and listen to the craziest session recordings ever made.

Hello Vasko. Thanks - I'm checking out the 08.04.2006 session.
I'm enjoying it a lot.

I like your drummer.
Nice guitars too.

Thanks Hip Priest. Sorry for the page, it's in slovene language. But you can download all the music you want.
The recordings are made in our practice room and usually we record only with 4 mics (the sound card has only 4 inputs :$). 2 mics are for the drummer and bass player (me) and 2 are for the guitars. And also in the recordings you can hear us talk... that's becouse i'm too lazy to cut it out. |

No problem. This forum is a great place to hear good music. There's a whole load of musically talented members here. Quote:
Perhaps you give us a very rough idea of what it says? Quote:
Oops. I praised the drumming and the guitars - sorry. Maybe the stuff I heard didn't feature the bass as much. What should I listen to to hear your playing at the forefront? Quote:
In a recording of that nature, I think extraneous sounds can provide an interesting quality and add to the charm. I only had time to listen to about half an hour, but I will definitely listen to more when I can. I loved the first part of the 08.04.2006 session. Is there any way that I can save the music to my computer for re-listening? That would be cool.

The easiest way to do that is to right click the link and then click the Save link as.. (at least in Firefox). Quote:
- where we come from (Trbovlje, Slovenia) - the members (Matej Ocepek - drums, Boris Laharnar - guitar, Matevž Kostanjšek - guitar, Vasja Lebar - bass guitar) - and the idea behind our music I'll do the translation as soon as i'll have the time for it but it will be done next week. |

Ah, thank you for the advice. I never knew that. Very clever.
And thanks in advance for the translation!

I like the idea of a upping sessions to a website. I looked into doing it, but am a technological voidhole.
I'm listening to 20060923_1, which is very good. It's drifting in a pleasant way, there's obviously a lot of coordination going on in the band. Incidentally, 'psychedelic' is spelt like that rather than 'psychadelic', even though it's pronounced like it's spelt with an 'a'. Edit: This gets really good around the 12 minute mark...

When we started our sessions we had no idea we're going to upload our recordings on a website. I run the http server on my home computer and I think that you shouldn't have too much problems in setting up your own server (if you have the time for it). If you want, I can explain it in more details how i've done this. |

Thanks... I have a website designer friend who is going to do it for me at some point. But thanks very much for the offer... I assume it's not a great deal of effort though?

It took me about 1 week to do our website (I made it with a programming language called perl). And I'm no expert in designing websites. So I guess that it should take about 1-2 days (max) for a proffesional designer to do a website like ours. |
