Yo. I'm going on a "study abroad" trip for school this Spring break. I'll be visiting Barcelona, Florence and Rome starting on March 21st. keeping in mind I am under the age of 18, going on a "school" trip, and likewise conditions, do any of you know any cool places to hit up/shop at?
We're definitely going to the Duomo, Vatican, St. Peter's, etc., but are there any cool places to chill, grab vinyl, shop for world famous Italian denim, etc.? Cool. Thanks. |

silly american, under 18 means nothing in italy
1. food, become a fatso. icecream, pizza, and cakes have a completely different taste 2. try not to get ripped off, they can tell an innocent turist from miles ive never been to any of these 3 cities but the commercial and turist areas are pretty much the best to stay at, n you'll probably go past them if you will be guided. try talking to girls, they dig turists big time |

I've only been to Florence but I can give you some tips.
1. Go see the David! (I cannot stress this enough.) You can find him the Academy. The statue in the Plaza in not, I repeat, not the original. It's just a copy. Also, while you're in the plaza, see the Perseus and Medusa bronze 2. Eat the gelato. Best in the world. 3. See Dante's house and all things Dante 4. If you're wanting a nice leather jacket, buy it there. Or any other leather goods 5. Go walking in a small group around the city, see the Duomo. 6. Buy cheap street vendor art

I went to barcelona last year to Primavera festival. Definetly the best city I've visited. I only stayed for 5 days so I didn't get to see everything but you have to go to Park Guell (i think its called that). It has an amazing view of the city and is full of loads of really cool architecture by Gaudi. There's loads of cool gaudi stuff around the city anyway. The gothic part of the city is really cool, best ice cream i've ever had.

Yeah, we're definitely going to see the David. Pretty much everything by Michelangelo I can get my eyes on, I will.
Thanks for the suggestions. Any specific places or stores in specific, guys? |
