Yeah they're just a 'sorta there' shoegaze group that had a bit of a following around 2012 or so. I wondered what happened to 'em and saw this article on a discord. Thought it was recent since they have a new album soon

most modern shoegaze bands are variations of the mbv or slowdive sound

the real cool stuff though imho are the bands which incorporate those dreamy soundscapes into heavier music, creating 'blackgaze' and 'post-metal'

it's something very recent that's happened in the music scene, starting w/ bands like Deftones, Isis, Russian Circles, Alcest, Deafheaven,Bosse-de-Nage, etc.
