Like editing them. Cutting and add a new audio layer.

no idea... i've never heard of any.
but if you searched google you would find this http://labnol.blogspot.com/2006/07/1...n-do-with.html so you can at least cut them with flv parser... but for the sound you'll have to look further. if it's really necessary you could always convert them to another format, edit that and then convert them back, but that would no doubt destroy the quality though. |

i dont know how to edit an flv video, i know how to create one.... you edit your regular dv footage then compress with something like sorenson squeeze. there are programs like... pinnacle, i think, that let you drag all manner of video file into a timeline. not sure if it will accept flv though. do a google. your other option would be to transcode the thing somehow, edit & recompress, but the results could be quite ugly. im thinking if there's an option in flash proper that would let you add a soundtrack.... you could probably do it if you attach that to the swf files that make up the player interface. |

Video editing software won't accept flv's.
The best way to work with that format, is to import it into flash and add your audio of choice in the timeline. |

thats what i had said-- theres a swf "wrapper" where one could attach anything
btw, flash doesnt create the flv files per se, so just everyone knows-- nor does the flv itself file appear in the timeline either-- flash just creates a container to funnel the flv file through. |
