sometimes its Pod by The Breeders.
I love the production on it, and the tunes, and the feel. I think Kim's voice is one of the best around. I know its not the best album ever but it makes me cosy and warm |

my favorite album of all time is
DAYDREAM NATION by this little-known yet mildly influential band named SONIC YOUTH  It is my favorite album of all time because it powers a flow of sick twisted mindfuckwarpocity to my pre-frontal cortex, bypassing the limbic and the early mammalioan brain and scrambling up my neural circuits, allowing me to rewrite the meta scripts in my brain through which I filter all of experience. sometimes, when silver rocket goes skronk,a d then builds and is about to, just about to, head back into recognizable skree riffing, I can truly understand that I AM GOD

because i'm an angry person. with anger issues. and when you're an angry person AND in high school.. you need this album. four+ years ago, this album got me through the shittiest high school experience ever. i had a lot to say but didn't say it. and this album.. well.. pretty much said it for me. |
