Well, I am very sceptical to UFOs and aliens but I defenitly believe in life in outer space and so on.
If we can exist everything we have once came from outside it's pretty obvious that it exists somewhere else. Maybe not in the same form as we, but it could be some kind of insect or whatever on some planet. Other intelligence or civilizations, I really don't know. How about you? |

well, possibley...I would be more inclined to believe in other dimensional beings, if aliens exist that way...than that they came here faster than the speed of light from far away.
and i totally believe in parallel universes etc. anyone watch the show the universe? or ancient aliens? |

It looked like a star on the horizon. An unusually bright star. I was outside getting some fresh air. I went back inside, and when I came back to look at it, it had climbed higher in the sky. I thought that was pretty unusual. So I grabbed my binoculars and looked at it again. It had lights all over it. Reddish lights. Then as I watched it through my binoculars it moved straight up in the sky and over my house.

I do not believe in them, but only because I've never seen one. This isn't to say I don't acknowledge the possibility of life on other planets. I do, but only as a possibilty. I know for some it's hard to believe that we might be all there is, but it is possible. I personally believe we are the result, most likely, of a freak sequence of events. A sequence of events that could happen elsewhere, but isn't likely. Space is in fact very big, and constantly expanding...so next to anything is possible.

I was just having this conversation last night on another site. I would somewhat agree with not believing in them, but being conscious of the possibility. Without valid evidence I have no reason to believe. Also, I don't consider perpetual expansion and infinite space to be the same concepts... most tend to disagree when I say that or don't apprehend what I'm trying to say. Anyways, hopefully my alien family abducts me soon and fills me in on how I ended up on such a boring planet such as Earth.

At a surface thought, UFO's themselves as we know them, that's hard to say. The general lexicon and mythology of UFOdom I'm not that sure about. Greys, aliens at Area 51, all that stuff. Who can say.
Broadening out, in terms of life in the universe in general, I think life existing beyond Earth is a sure thing. Now to what degree of life is up for debate. Bacteria and other microbiology as well as general alien life in the beast sense (alien dogs, bears, monkeys, you get it) sure. Now intelligent life is where one wonders. Hard to say, it would feel odd to immediately discount it. But then why haven't we seen or heard anything out there? How come we're the only intelligent species on the planet? Who knows, maybe we live in one of the least densely populated areas of the universe.

That's like people who said we'll never how how it feels to fly, or get to the moon...or the earth is flat... never say never. It could be a very long time...and honestly, if we could get over our social problems we could definitley advance scientifically to the point where we could achieve anything...but I think our social problems will always hinder our science because our science has given us some very dangerous weapons. We'll kill ourselves before we emancipate ourselves. Just endless cycles of repeated rebirth... |

Can't you see the wisdom in what you are talking about? Spirituality is an evolutionary trait in humans which is supra-social, transcendental literally, and it is from this perspective that humans have had the wisdom in the past to purposefully spoil technological advances solely because the wisest among us have always understood we are far to dangerous and stupid for ourselves and our own good, and so why better educate and arm such dangerous and inherently stupid things as people without first embedding a sense of morality and mutual empathy? Hence world religions which is mankind's intuitively created fail-safe mechanism, and look at how wildly self-destructive the atheistic despotic regimes of the post-modern era have been I've seen what could be rightfully called an Unidentified Flying Object on two occasions. One night several years ago a friend and I were out smoking a cigarette in front of his driveway and we noticed what seemed to be a really really high flying plane. It was at night so we saw the light, but it was dead quiet (usually you can hear planes even flying high) and the light just seemed to be way to high up. I've seen "satellites" before, they move differently, this looked like a plane, but again, it just seemed the light was way to high up, and then suddenly it just streaked across the sky lightening fast, and yet still didn't make a sound. I have seen shooting stars (I keep count) and I have even seen some satellites, this was completely different. What I can't ever understand is how something clearly moving so fast didn't make a sound, let alone a sonic boom? More recently, at my new place I was taking out the trash to the street one night, and looking up I saw what seemed like ordinary planes' lights flying medium altitude in the sky. Then they suddenly started "dancing" and flying in infinity-circle eights until the bottom light suddenly streaked straight up and the top light finished the spiral and followed it. Again, both were completely silent. I don't believe in aliens, they'd have to live in our solar system otherwise the distance would make them irrelevant, and I'm not really convinced technologically superior beings are flying to earth simply to fuck with stoners at night, if these dudes were real wouldn't they just boss up already? Now to answer the question, who on earth has already bossed up and runs things? Oh right, the government. I think that answers the questions of where these lights might be coming from then, unless folks are persuaded to believe these are manifestations of spiritual beings such as gods or devils. I'm more inclined to believe in visions created by spiritual beings then in extra-terrestrial beings with super-advanced technology

i know you flowty
you don't want to believe it you know it the same as seeing the face of maria in a cave or seeing many faces in a picture of something the reason for that is that the visuals look for things they can recall to in the way of it sort of lookes like ... nothing more then bioconfusion in the brain visual mistakes are easely made...my friend lol |
