Recommend me some artist film/docus please. Preferably modern artists.
Saw the Jackson Pollock one. It was OK. Saw Basquiat. Loved it. Saw the Haring docu. Liked it. Music docus can be nice as well. Saw we jam econo. Loved it. Saw most of the Dave Markey stuff. It's all pretty good. Saw some kind of monster. It was kind of funny i guess. Wait, aren't there any good modern architechture films? Need more tips and recommendations. Can't wait for the J Mascis one by the way. |

Have you played Gamma World? Good times!
Never tried Aftermath, thought it certainly looked cool in the Dragon Magazine advertisements for it, but I had Morrow Project and really looked forward to running it, but you know how it goes, people move away, time goes on... |

Oklahoma must have been like Gamma World all of the time, right? Maybe more like Morrow Project after McVey went big time? I bet there could be some great Okey Noodling integrated into a Gamma/Morrow campaign crossover (once the radiation hits them catfish, waatch out!) |

Sure. But the doc isn't even really about Banksy. It's about street art in general and MR. BRAINWASH, who is probably a creation OF Banksy. But it's not like it's a bio of Banksy or something.

i don't know many, i'm not an expert on this, but: check out the "architectures" tv series (it's on netflix) http://www.arte.tv/fr/Echappees-cult...s/2798026.html also, "my architect" is about the great louis kahn, although his estranged son gets lost in the fucking jerry springer drama of being a forlorn lovechild. annoying, but great buildings. -- music: there's one about the runaways called "edgeplay" that's quite shit in the way it was shot, and also lots of finger pointing for which joan jett refused to participate, but it might satisfy some curiosity about the band, pair it up w/ the dakota fanning docudrama. oh and if you haven't seen dig! you should, featuring springer-quality footage of anton newcombe's meltdowns. it's sad really. but anyway. it's hard to find documentaries that leave out the soap opera these days. oh, and the one about half japanese, "the band that would be king" is great-- for an extra treat you can hear gerald cosloy talk shit about sonic youth, ha ha, the irony, but really it's more about the drama and less about who did what to whom. very enjoyable. |

It may not be what you're looking for when regarding architecture, but MANUFACTURED LANDSCAPES is cool.

Hm, i received it as an exit cue for Banksy, considering the title. His/Her/Their/Its credibility is now totally lost since the expression in fact has become a gift shop commodity. Maybe this is the last we'll ever see.

Interesting analysis. Would make sense considering Banksy himself graffitti-ing "BANKSY SOLD OUT". |
