I know very little about American Soccer, but I'm happy that other people are happy. And I smiled a little at that young lady's bazongas.

It's a decent sport, really it is. You should give it a go. Or perhaps you have, and you don't like it, in which case you should forget my advice.

An artist who loves football. Not that it's totally unheard of--just unusual.
That titty photo is photoshopped, right?

Thank God!!! Who do you guys like tonight? I picked Miami because I think Daunte is going to get his roll on even against Pittsburgh's D.
Baseball is life for me.

I'm hoping the Braves can pull it out for a shot at the wild card.

that is not photoshopped, but most definitely is a soccer photo n ha ha ha!
I am so excited! I just found out I won two club leve suite tickets for the texans philly game this sunday! they held a blood drive at work and I won the raffle for giving blood. high quality blood there. I do not like to watch college football. screw the minor leagues. ha ha! the college game is so sloppy and one sided ussually. teams that are strong pay good money to shit teams to play them so they are guaranteed at least 3-4 easy as fuck victories each season, out of 12 games that is BULLSHIT the mome nt they broke up the old SDouthwest conference and sent UT, A&M, tech and baylor to the Big 12 I stopped giving a flying FUCK. the only reason that University of Houston did not go to big 12 was because ann richards, texas governor at the time, was abylor grad and lobbied to have baylor, a shit football school, enter the big 12.

This is not so true anymore, the one-sidedness that is. And I think the NCAA is making an effort at making smaller schools more competitive. It is very possible to see TCU in a BCS bowl game this year, while you're naming names. Also, concerning the old SW conference (talk about one-sided), I too didn't like seeing my beloved conference (Big 8) go either. I'd of rather seen TCU join the Big 12. I just think the college game is a lot more fun. |

I will certainly agree that the atmosphere and the rivalries and such at college games are a lot of fun.
what I do not like is the level of play. I watch the NFL because every player is an all-american. In college you are lucky if each team ahs 2-4 all-american caliber players. In the NFL, the players must make another step up in dedication and practice and even skill because everyone they face, even the second stringers, are on par with the very best they faced in college. I also prefer defense, being an old defensive tackle myself, and the college game has super sloppy defense. scores of 45-40 are common, and insane blowouts of 60-7 are an every week occurrence. the parity in the NFL is much better. even the worst NFL team can give the best teams headaches. I also hate the rel;atively new bowl setup in the NCAA. each conference used to have a bowl game. Now there are like 40 of them and half of them are set up with teams that have barely a winning record. several bowl games last year featured teams with records of 7-5 going against a 7-5 team. that is just mopney grubbing pure and simple, something the college afficionados like to tag the pro league with. Vince Young's FAMILY got $500,000 when vince young decided to play for UT. schools give players and playe rfamilies houses, cars, and mopney and whores and tutors and special classes where they do not have to even show up. it is MORE crooked tha the pro game. the pro game is played for a salary. the college game is supposedly played for an education, or "the ove of football" .At least the prios are honest about it.

Yeah, because none of that happened to the Pro Players when they were in college...
I think it's actually the disparity that makes the college game so much more interesting. And it's a lot more fun when you personally know the guys that you watch every Saturday. Maybe you just watch the wrong college games. Looking for defense? It's called the SEC. |

Football would be far more interesting if there were cameras in the linebacker's showers.
