Hey guys, I usually stay at a hotel in the city when I come to see them in NY. But does anyone know any hotels in Brooklyn near the pool thats not dodgy? When I went last year the area around there was fine, but I dont remember seeing any hotels. Any help would be great.

I saw a Hotel Le Jolie near the Lorimer L stop last night, looks a little pricey to me and has a great view of the BQE, but its walking distance.

Aside from lodging, you can get by in NYC pretty cheaply...eat in Chinatown for just a few bucks (great Vietnamese place on Mott Street near Grand). Staten Island Ferry for free sightseeing. Take the subway to get everywhere. There's always other free music happening in NYC (check the Village Voice, also free). Eat pizza, but not in Manhattan (it's not the real stuff). What else do you need to know? I'll help if I can. |

Hotel 17 near the village is cheap. I may be staying there again. |
