Received my copy earlier today... it's a bargain indeed. Out of those 10 euros they even spent about 4 on priority airmail shipped in a cardboard box. It took less than 2 days to arrive from Finland.
The CD itself is packed in a simple glossy cardboard fold-out sleeve but they're sending you a nice 60-page programme of the festival with it... I even got two. Jim O'Rourke's contribution, Out with the Old, is listed as recorded in 1990/1991/1994/2006. It's droney a la the Phil Niblock kind and it sounds like several (electronic) drones from different recordings woven together with some subdued piano (and possibly guitar?) tones towards the end. |
