I dont know if this has been posted it yet. but i thought it was pretty neato. no there isn't any noise freakouts, so all the dylan haters can suck a cock. but i thought it was cool. i liked lee's version of mama, you've been on my mind more than this one. but i can't see anyone toping bob's version of this one.

also, is there any news on how that solo alleged "singer-songwriter" album on ecstatic peace is going?

I always enjoy Sonic Youth's Dylan covers. They've done quite a good few now. I'm Not There, Mama You've Been on My Mind, Sitting on a Barbed Wire..

Not gonna lie, that was not what I wanted it to be. Lee covering "visions" should be so much more amazing, he really isnt feeling the words.. its kind of sing-along-y

I grew up w/ Lee's version and didn't hear Bob's til recently. I heard Lee's last night (unrelated to this post!) and it was so different now that I'm so deep inside Bob's version. I've probably listened to Dylan every day for the past 6 months as I start discovering more of his music.

I love Lee's version of "Mama, You've Been On My Mind", though. Great voice for that type of material, which just makes me wish he'd release an album of Dylan and Neil covers. His "Positively 4th Street" is nice too, does anyone know if he's done any others?

I'm a huge Dylan geek, so I'm always up for a really interesting/well-done cover, and Sonic Youth has been consistent in that area.
