Every day my Outlook Express gives me a handy tip to enhance my usage of sending, receiving and sorting emails. I thought I'd share them with you.
Today's tip: Sort your messages by clicking any column heading in the message list. For example, clicking the From column heading will sort your messages by who sent the message. I'll post another one tomorrow. |

Need to find someone's e-mail address?
Click the Edit menu, click Find, then click People. Select the Internet directory service you want to search at the top, type in the person's name, then click Find Now. |

The best one yet!:
Insert sounds in your messages! In a new message, click the Format menu, click Background and then click Sound. Try it, it really works! |

Create folders for storing your messages.
Click the File menu, click Folder, then click New. After you've created the new folder, drag and drop messages into it. |

Very sorry I've missed a few days, I was busy at the mned
You can use Windows Messenger to talk in real-time with several people. Start an instant message to someone by double-clicking on their name in the Contacts area. When the instant message window opens, click Invite and select the names of the other people you wish to join the conversation. |

When you compose a new message, briefly summarize what the message is about in the subject line. That way, the recipient will know what your message is about before they even open it up.
