From the TCM website:
The creator of an extensive gallery of diverse film characters including Rosemary in Rosemary's Baby (1968) and Tina Vitale in Broadway Danny Rose (1984), Mia Farrow brings her perceptions and insights to a new role-Guest Programmer for TCM. Joining host Robert Osborne, Farrow introduces and discusses four of her favorite films, choosing director Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon (1950) for its "sheer artistry." Farrow's friend Salvador Dali first recommended that she catch Luis Bunuel's The Exterminating Angel (1962), "one of the most surreal movies you could possibly see."

Farrow, who met Ingmar Bergman and found the Swedish director to be "mesmerizing," champions Fanny and Alexander (1982, TCM premiere) as one of his films that deserves to be more widely seen. Although the subject matter of Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull (1980) might not ordinarily interest Farrow, she admires the boxing film for its performances and human drama and reveals that she watched it numerous times to "borrow" Cathy Moriarty's speech patterns for her own performance in Broadway Danny Rose.

It's Thursday the 15th.

Thanks for the heads up. I always love catching a movie I've never seen before on TCM. I've seen "Rashomon", not that is not worth seeing again, I've seen "Raging Bull" not that is not worth seeing again. Yet, I've never seen "Fanny and Alexander", and I've never head of "The Exterminating Angel".

Yeah, it's the same for me except I've never seen raging bull. I'm always excited about seeing another bergman film and exterminating angel seems pretty interesting. Rashomon is great also. TCM is one of the only channels I still watch because their programming just seems to be getting better and better.

"The Exterminating Angel" is great... not my fave Bunuel, but great nonetheless. I've been meaning to see Fanny and Alexander, seing as Bergman directed my absolute favorite film of all time...
