So what are you British sods spending today doing?

I've gotta do some painting on me house (that's the bad thing about beng a painter, everyone wants favours doing for them) then i've no idea what else.

I'm at work.I walked over Waterloo Bridge this morning and there were only 2 people in sight.'Ghost Town' by the Specials sprang to mind.

Bummer. I haven't made any plans but I bought the Werner Herzog boxset on dvd yesterday so I have plenty to keep me amused.

Memorial day for the us of a. my dad is home installing an hdtv in the family room. Me? I do nothing everyday but right now TCM has some sort of war movie marathon and I'm watching that.

It was a warm, sunny bank holiday in my part of the world.

There was a plan at one stage that all EU countries would get all EU countries' bank holidays, if you see what I mean. But they realised that Europe would be shut for basically the whole of March.

I may trundle along to a party. It'll be full of college kids. I'm not sure if it's a good idea. As yet, being as I am unemployed, Bank Holiday days are pretty much the same as normal days.

I spent it doing a bit of reading, some shopping, some cooking and playing Black and White 2 and Half Life 2. I haven't played any computer games for a while so it was nice.

I was getting pretty compelled by it yesterday....it was only the demo though. My friend has just won a copy on ebay though....might try and get a copy or something.
