Small pleasures are so nice, aren't they?
I like it when I rep someone and they gain a new box. That always feels nice. What small pleasures do you enjoy? I'll post some more too in a minute.

My first glass of orange juice in the morning. e-mails which consist solely of the word 'meep'.

Taking a nice long crap, you know really exploring the end of time with your movements of the bowel. Maybe its just me but a good long session at the porcelain temple is a small thing that is grand.

Its weird, I'm fairly certain that I like grinding my coffee almost as much if not more than actually drinking the stuff. It posesses a sense of expectation that never seems to dull, call it happiness, call it strange.

I agree with those who said orange juice, Daydream Nation (haven't enjoyed to SY in about a week, but I'm really feeling DDN right now), and realizing you have anything in the cupboard you forgot about.
Getting up early for no reason, even though I only do it about once a year. I got up at 7:30 a couple days ago on a day on which I had absolutely nothing to do, and it was great. Today was 9:00, still pretty damn early for a nothing-day. Getting new books/albums. Or not getting them and just looking. |

Oh shit that reminds me. I had a great day today. Spent it poring over scores in the local library, and then dipping in and out of books. Fucking ace.
