I saw them in DC earlier this year without T. J. Lipple under the name Pow Wow. They were pretty incredible....and Mary Timony is still incredibly pretty. And talented, of course. Any other takers?

i like mary timony. her sound is so raw. she's fun live. saw her a few yrs ago opening for sleater kinney. ex hex was a good album, but this album cover:

Thanks for the heads up. I love Helium but have never really checked out Timony's solo stuff or side projects. Pirate Prude is so pretty.

Helium was awesome. Definitely one of the best short-lived bands ever that nobody really ever seems to talk about.
