Blind man - have mercy on me(uh)...
Not my favourite album of recent years, but still better than the majority of bands.

Abso-bloomin' crikey O'-lutely. It's essential listening for everyone with ears. "And the drums, come in..." and then the drums come in... gah. Most bands would be lucky to make an album that's a quarter as good as this one... the fall have made about 15 of the buggers... ridiculously great band.

OY, YOU! LISTEN UP! Have you heard the very good, quite lengthy interview he did recently on KCRW Radio, shortly after the latest personnel change? Click here, if you're that way inclined. It's the happiest I've heard him in years, and he's on fine form.

Ha...That used to be my desktop picture on my PC. I really used to obsessed with the song "Who Makes the Nazis." Brilliant.

I love his vocal style....How can anyone sound so brilliant while slurring so much? Know what I mean?

The new line-up make those songs sound even more energetic - the new LP will have a great sound. Check out the interview (which includes tracks) that I linked above - if you like The Fall, you'll enjoy it.

he is no damo suzuki! Palace of Swords Reversed & this nations are my 2 favorites. They were excellent at the Knitting Factory considering they had 3 new members just a week prior to the show. He is a bit of a bully on stage, but whatcha gonna do...he's mes. He'd probably fire you if you looked at him wrong. Is that his girlfriend in the band? She was pretty hot. |
