I actually wish Mascis would do more acoustic stuff. Flying Cloud has slowly crept up to being one of my favorite Dino Jr. songs.

acoustic mascis is good. I prefer electric but the acoustic versions let you hear the parts more clearly. it also seems to me hat j just writes the songs on an acoustic and then just cranks up the volume and distorts the fuck out of his guitar for the electric version. that's why I like Dino; the songs are folky and melodic on the inside but just sound so powerful.
