I'm sort of fascinated with death in general because it's mysterious to me. This is NOT intended as a religious-beliefs thread unless you wanna bring it up. Just curious about your thoughts.
1. Do you believe you were someone else in a previous life? 2. Do you believe you will return as someone else after you die? 3. Have you ever had a near-death experience? 5. Have you ever been with someone as they actually died? 4. Does your own death ever cross your mind? Do you even care? I hope I don't jinx anybody, myself included. |

No to all except the last one.
In fact I thought about my death 30 minutes after I woke up. I went to go warm up my car and as I walked down icy steps I thought. It'd be cool if I wiped out and broke my neck. |

1.Do you believe you were someone else in a previous life? I don't rule out the possiblity. God never said in the bible that reincarnation does not exist.
2. Do you believe you will return as someone else after you die? I hope that I do not. I prefer eternal rest and rebirth into a spiritual body. 3. Have you ever had a near-death experience? Maybe, when yr beyond fucked up yr closer than you know. 5. Have you ever been with someone as they actually died? I held a baby kitten in my hands as he died. He just let out one strong meow and fell limp. It was very sad. 4. Does your own death ever cross your mind? Do you even care? Yes. I look foward to it. I view it as new life.

What's with the name calling dicklick? It's not a fucking instruction manual, it is a beautiful piece of literature passed down through the years. And anyway that is an interpretation of the verse. I've read the bible multiple times and I am sure that any one will agree that it is a very difficult book to understand. It is something that takes a lifetime to fully grasp. Also, the way you percieve things is going to be inadvertantly connected to the church you were raised in. I was raised Catholic and that is not how they interpreted it. So piss off .

1- if it was me, how could it be someone else. 2- see number 1. 3- yes, life. 4- does it count if you're the one killing them? 4- yes, all the time, and it's the most reassuring thought.

1) no. I believe that since the beginning of time, infinite and without demarcation of separation of space, time or matter, I simply existed. I have always existed, I currently exist, and I will always exist, because the soul of man is an eternal drop of the Creator who is the ocean of life in comparison. 2) no. I always was me, I always will be me, and if I somehow return to reanimate this pile of dirt, blood and shit I currently inhabit, then it will be MY pile of dirt, blood and shit. 3) yes. when consuming daturas I have had such intense out-of-body visions that I knew I was not conventionally alive. The folks tripping with me on the most serious occurance, said that while i was having my vision I was unconscious, spinning on the floor, drooling until I literally like magic reappeared in my body as myself.. The visions I experienced on that quest defy understanding, I can not explain where I was or what I was experiencing, but it was not the conventional daydream or hallucination, I have plenty of those.. this was something different entirely.. 4) yes, constantly, a man of power should befriend his death and know with absolute conviction the moment of its approach. Death is always at hand for the spiritual warrior, but as Christian, I believe that the final victory of humanity is to conquer the pains of death (as a spiritual place of existence where a person goes after life) 5) no. I was a nazarite for 8 years, I purposely avoided anything even remotely dying, and as such I had to hurt quite a few death bed feelings
