i'm bored of john zorn, but i come back to his klezmer stuff periodically. "bar kokhba" and "the circle maker" are both really good.

Yes! All the Naked City stuff I've heard is great. My favourite is the first album though. Also probably the best introduction. This: is an underrated favourite of mine. Everyone should check it out. I mean Zorn with Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson? Amazing!

I dig Naked City and some Painkiller still. I rarely listen to anything of his anymore.

his masada quartet is tons of fun to see live. amazing musicianship between the players. the string trio is also excellent.
i really like the soundtrack releases where Ribot plays a large role, like _Invitation To A Suicide_. the Bar Kokhba 2cd set is stellar as well.

Listen to Zorn's The Big Gundown and Naked City. And Grand Guignol by Naked City. Most Naked City albums are great. The Film Works-albums are pretty good starting points as well.
