Chris Morris, Britain's edgiest television and radio comedian, what does everyone / anyone think of his programs - some of which are: Brasseye, The Day Today, Blue Jam and On The Hour.

You have to bear in mind that he's got British celebrities to contribute in interviews to these thinking they're real.

- Good AIDS versus Bad AIDS Yeah the Brasseye Pheadophile special is my favourite of Morris' stuff. Though sadly my estranged brother recently left the country with my Brasseye DVD. The final insult. Nice to know I can watch it on YouTube though... |

I reckon the makers of The IT Crowd must have had clandestine photos of Morris performing some unspeakably foul act - blackmail can be the only possible explanation for his appearing in such an irredeemable pile of shit.
However, everything else he's ever been involved with is complete genius. The Blue Jam radio shows were his absolute peak in my book, but Nathan Barley also deserves props. |

I'm never convinced the first time I see anything he does, then I end up seeing it again and just have to admit that the guy's a bit of a genius.
I totally agree with radarmaker about The IT Crowd though. Almost on a par with Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps for its awfulness. also agree that Jam has been his greatest achievment so far, although his Blue Jam radio shows were perhaps even more amazing: (Blue Jam) Chris Morris' interview with a blissfully unaware Jerry Springer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQoxy...eature=related Chris Morris rings an Airport Information Service in America: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl98V...eature=related |

He's the only comedian that I consider to be an artist because of his brilliant use of words, sound and visuals, as well has his acerbic, surreal comedic genius . I like Armando Iannucci a lot too, but with him sometimes I can't help thinking that he writes like a politician or a columnist, and there's something vaguely Woody Allen-ish about him. Chris Morris is also the only truly dissident voice that came out of the UK in years.
