Seeing as there's a thread elsewhere has gone wild over beer, it seems a good topic for a poll...
As an ale drinker I vote for Great Britain. For non-ales I'm not sure whether I'd go for Belgium or Germany. |

I voted other becuz personally, as a homebrewer, I think I do. I'll take my own Belgian dubbel over anything on the shelves, and my 2-Hearted Ale (an IPA) clone is sooo sweet and heavy.

Well, I took other only becasue I like Baltika more than anything else. The Dutch know what they're doing too though...

The Czech make the best beer, although being Slovakian, I envy them big time.
Therefore, I voted "other"

Gret Britain makes the best 'real ale' types of beer, but if we're talking lager then it's either the Russians or the Czechs.

Of the countries known for beer making, I have to give the nod to Belgium.

Good nomination for Poland. Poland are very good at drinks generally, I think; the best cordials (esp. raspberry), smoothies, mineral water, vodka, lager et al).
