We all know what the poem is all about. So what do you guys think about every decision you make has a different consequence? Even the smallest of things.

Sometimes, I do. Sometimes I like to wonder where I would be if I had not met certain people. If I would be better off or worse off (I suspect the latter). I also go over lots of things in my head- what if I had just been rude and asked Thurston if I could go in and see the audible-from-outside soundcheck? What if I had just run off for an hour at the movies to see how you'd react? Etc.

All my teachers had orgasms over this poem in high school. But really, every single thing that you do has an effect and will lead the world to a totally different place.

I agree.
The world as we know it is the sum of our errors of will. I once got with a girl many years ago whose father did an introduction for a Robert Frost book of poetry. |
