What do you think about them?
I think they're very good. "Turning blue" almost almost make me cry. "Teenage kicks" is a cool song too ( but I only know the version by Pink Turds In Space ). |

All I know is Teenage kicks was John Peel's favourite song (along with Joy Division's Atmosphere actually).

I've listened to Teenage Kicks countless times. It's one of those songs that keeps me going.
Aside from that I haven't heard anything, although I'd be willing to. |

It's the only one I haven't got. I've read it sounds a lot like the Ramones. It looks like the Undertones ( and That Petrol Emotion ) can't get recognition or commercial succes whatsoever , even though they're both great bands imo: I don't get it. |

that petrol emotion were one of the most underrated bands to come out if ireland (32 counties) they were amazing especially live, shame steve mack was a bit of a tool but.......
the undertones first album aint nothing like the ramones except for the fact its late 70s punk, its more pop than that, more like the buzzcocks with 18 year old male testosterone humour.... my perfect cousion, jimmy jimmy are better tracks than teenage kicks..... |

I can't find any Undertones, CD or LP. I only have Teenage Kicks on a CD-R mix tape somebody gave me.

I hate myself, but I have to point out that Atmosphere was voted 'best song ever' by listeners to the JP show, I would wager (prickishly) that Messrs Smith & Beefheart would probably feature higher than t'Undertones in such a list. The Undertones were shite, to my ears. By way of coincidence, I'm always right. Sorry all.

I remember listening to the Undertones Peel Sessions, but don't remember any of the songs.
