i figured id be like rohmer and start a series of morality threads...
MK Nachman Shai (Kadima) on Wednesday urged Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi to dismiss Adm. Eliezer Marom after the Israel Navy commander was caught at a Tel Aviv strip club earlier in the week....

"It is precisely because of things like this that he was passed over last time ... He doesn't have the proper moral character for a fleet commander."

"I don't understand [Marom]," another officer said. "He waited so long to get this job; he couldn't have waited until his three-year term was up before doing such a thing?"

so is going to a strip club that big of an offense that someone should be fired. it states that he went without his uniform, so he didnt really give the army a bad name, he just went as a private citizen, without representing the army, so whats the big deal?
whats funny is the IDF bombs civilians, and kills many an innocent man, but if an admiral goes to a strip joint he is lacking moral character
