I used to have quite a bit of B.A.L.L. stuff on vinyl, years ago. i don't think I've ever seen them reissued though. The only thing I've neard by S.T.P. is the 'Hey Bastard' track on the Rough Trade Shop 'Rock n Roll' compilation. i'd love to hear more but I think they only ever released one EP or something.

STP just released one EP Smoke' Em, I also heard from Rough Trade Shop, but I just like julia's stuff, really hard to find both, even B.A.L.L. |

Yeah.I've recently been looking for stuff by both bands myself but you're right, it's almost impossible to find anything. There's a helluva lot of stuff from that period that seems to have simply disappeared.

Too bad you weren't at my yard sale this past weekend. I sold all of my B.A.L.L. records there. The guy who got them was pretty happy.
You can find those LPs fairly easily on Musicstack or Discogs or Gemm, and they're not very expensive. Cool stuff, but I hadn't listened to them in years. My favorite Shimmy stuff is Bongwater, Kramer's "Guilt Trip" box and Fred Lane. |

Yeah, I was about to mention Discogs.
The whole Shimmy Disc catalogue was purchased a little while back by Knitting Factory Records, who, in their infinite wisdom, seem to have decided that the best thing to do is let them all go out of print. P.S. Hello, Savage Clone. |
