started watching it again recently and i reckon it's easily the BEST ever series ever to grace tv. absolutely sublime. i love how it's so fucking morbid. |

I did like it a bit but kind of lost interest after a while. I liked the theme tune a lot which is my guilty admission. It was also cool how every episode began with a death and sometimes kind of funny and unexpected ones.

I loved the first series or two, but it veered into ridiculous soap-opera territory pretty quick - Nate's brain hemorrhage was the real shark-jumping moment for me. Deadwood, The Wire & The Sopranos all leave it standing.

It's a great show, yes. Although yeh, after the first few series it did what most made-for-tv shows do, it got a tad depressing. They all do it though. Sopranos did it too, it's like the easy route to go down is to destroy all the characters lives and lose all interest and exctiement.

when i first watched the series finale, i needed ten minutes to sit and cry. i love six feet under. but i can't just sit and watch it.. i need a few more years to sit down and get out all of the dvds.

my g/f loved it.
I did not. I got tired of the predictability of every single possible thing that can go wrong will go wrong. that gets tedious for me. for a country that does not like to examine death or any of the truths that come from death, 6 feet under is admirable as what it is, but it is actually quite a shallow show.
