I would love to hear Daft Punk's live set at Coachella this year. I know thier have been video clips uploaded to view on youtube but I would like to hear thier actual set in mp3 form (or any audio form) so that I can listen to it all the time on cd. Firstly, I do not even know if this has surfaced yet. Can anyone help?
Is thier such thing as a radio program that broadcasts live sets of bands at Coachella like how Triple J record Big Day Out shows? |

This is also video, but I believe it's the whole show (I haven't finished downloading yet). You can either make an audio file from it, or wait for the audio to be posted, but this might tide you over until you do. One of the best performances this year. |

Can someone explain to me why everyone at the coachella boards love Daft Punk so much?

I think there's a certain threshold in how many people like a band that once it's crossed, the majority decides it's suitable to like a band. Also, some of those people were on ecstasy and thought they could dance pretty swell, and aren't particularly musically aware. Having said that, it was a pretty good set.

I didn't see them, but I think they suck. EDIT TWO YEARS LATER: Daft Punk doesn't suck. They're good and I like to listen to them every now and then, but they're not gods or anything/ |

I was there and although I'm not a huge fan of electronic and dance music, I thought they put on an awesome show. Great sound and awesome visuals. The way they blended their songs together to form a unique set was great.

Daft Punk are boring. There are a ton of anime fans that love them just because Leiji Matsumoto (Star Blazers, Galaxy Express 999, Captain Harlock) did a couple of music videos for them.

their little onstage circle jerk was so cringe-worthy, amplified by the fact that they were blatantly doing shit all.
