I got a text last night saying that this girl who I knew about 18 years ago was killed by her boyfriend (who later shot himself).
there are a lot of people I used to know who I wouldn't be shocked to hear of dying, but for some reason, not her. although I haven't seen (or even really thought of) her in the last 18 years, it still feels weird knowing she went out that way. people who kill people are sick. |

Sorry to hear that. It's never good to find out somebody you once knew has dies, murder none the less.

Sorry to hear that, I was thinking about people I haven't seen for a while earlier today, I wonder if any have met with the same end as your friend did.

a few months ago, this guy i had a few classes with killed himself. i didn't know him all that well, but he was nice and we had chatted a few times. something had happened in his family (nobody knows what exactly) that drove him over the edge.
hearing he did that really weirded me out. just to think that i would never see him again.

The death of your peers is really strange.
You tend to keep their memories alive, think about them once in a while, about the wrinkles they would have had. I forgot most names and some faces of the persons who I was with at school when I was 8, but I remember the name and face of a girl who was ran over by a car during that year. I wanted to find her grave 10 years ago, even though I believed the family didn't want to stay in our little town and moved quickly. It's strange to try being good to a dead person, but it can't be helped. I guess you and crypto are going to feel the same way too. |
