I used to LOVE them. For the heck of it, I put on Black Sails In The Sunset today. That used to be my album. What has happened to them? They are utterly HORRIBLE now. I can't believe it's the same band...

I like that run of albums like the HALLOWS EVE EP and BLACK SAILS and all that.

I was basically made to listen to All Hallow's and Black Sails two weeks ago by a friend that loves them. I can honestly say they blew me away and if I had discovered them around the time I did At The Drive-In, I would have fell right in step. However, we agreed never to mention their latest album. All the others are fair game and range from good to excellent.

They have turned into this almost techno-pop stuff; at least some of it. And they used to be more punk; now they have this emo Hot-Topic look going, what with his hair and all.

i liked them back in 1995 or 96. they played some pretty good melodic hardcore punk at that time and just got worse and worse with each album.
