With SY, you never know- they can keep things under their hat for a long time. Then again, I couldn't begin to imagine what filmmaker would've been involved with this.. '87 is a bit too early for the flourish of Markey-Sonic filming? If it was ever finished, surely it would have been included on Screaming Fields.. Pah, I'm just thinking aloud here. This is curious. |

white kross is probably their best tune of that period (ok, the whole thing is pretty wonderful). sister is a kickass album.

yeah sister is a great album, but why should S.Y make a video of white cross? why not schizophrenia or stereo sanctity or even pipeline/kill time ( for me the best liric of that album )?

On the Sister Interview Disc they talk about making two videos for the album, "Beauty Lies" and one for "White Kross" with animation by Savage Pencil, based on film shot by Richard Kern.
There WAS apparently a video for "Stereo Sanctity" made that is only available on a rare SST video comp. Still not sure what the story is on that one, there's stills on my site.

Is it okay to take a guess? Knowing Chris L's wishlist, I'd say it's either something having to do with "Lightning" (less than likely), or a SYR DVD (probable?).

It's either a new SYR with nothing but outtakes of "Rim Thrusters" or the band will be officially announcing the permanent retirement of "Bull in the Heather" and "100%" from their setlists.
