Howdy y'all... I was hoping some of the expert collectors around here could advise on how common an SST CD of Sister with the Avedon and Disney pictures intact might be. To be honest, I didn't even know it existed - both the SST and BF pix on my site have them blacked out. I assume the CD was changed at the same time as the LP.
I'm just curious if anyone had any specifics - I've been keeping my eyes open for SST pressings of EVOL and Sister out of curiousity since the DGC versions of Bad Moon Rising and Daydream Nation are so horribly fucked up. Not that I've heard anything similar about EVOL and Sister, but for $8 I figured I'd check it out. The uncensored cover was just a bonus surprise!

I'm a bit confused.......
you got the "doubleuncensored" sst cd for 8$? I want one. Lots of stupid sellers use the "standard" cover image, you never know what they sell ha ha. I might need some sleep after all. And I'll check if you need pics of the GIANT posters.

eligible as "most useless reply of the week" in this section of the board. p.s. did you end up scoring a NYC G&F LP yet?

You may feel even worse when I tell you I found it earlier today in Seattle!
And I foolishly passed on that surplus of NYCG+F LPs on ebay....doh.

I have an uncensored Avedon/Disney Sister CD too, but mine's on Blast First. Bought it for cheap in a 2nd hand CD shop around 10 years ago, together with the SST EVOL CD, mainly as novelty items.
I also have the uncensored Avedon/Disney Sister LP on SST, but that's an eBay-score from 7-8 years ago when I was still collecting that kind of stuff. It's the only Sister LP I have and I don't think the seller even realised it was a rare(?) copy. It took me a while to dig it out and dust it off, but I've put it on now and it's the first time I'm listening to Sister in ages.... whoa, such an amazing album! |
