I was about to write something similar like "I should watch it just to get a sense of the context," but then I stopped myself thinking, "is there an appropriate context?"

It seems that the sole criterion for using that particular word is that one must be black.

why don't you watch the video before you start spouting that sort of rhetoric. he didn't just say the word, he verbally attacked the guys in the crowd.

there isn't any criteria for using the word. if you choose to use it for whatever reason, know the possible ramifications and hope that someone doesn't take it the wrong way and go batshit the way i tend to.

I accept the apology, White people feel cornered and can't think of comebacks so they blurt out something stupid and horrible as a last line of defense. He seemed to be in some real frantic manic state, and maybe was trying to make some point that he did'nt really fully think through, like tying it to the Chris Rock "Niggers vs. Black People" bit, by any means it was completly inappropriate and stupid and hateful. But it seems like he just really fuct up an I believe he genuinly feels bad about it. Kramer I forgive you, you dumbshit.
