We're in the wild west here supposedly so do whatever! Heard the single and I like it a lot. A couple of people I know compared it to Glen Campbell which isn't a bad thing I guess. I wasn't too happy to hear that a lot of the songs for the album are old songs he's decided to record and release now. He did the same for the last album and that was a dud and a half. However, I'll reservd judgement til the release.
The dream would be him doing a solo tour after it's released I don't see it.

I like it but I kept waiting for the big chorus and it never came. It starts with a Queen of the Supermarket vibe but no final payoff. I do like it though.

Regarding "old songs", I heard he was thinking of putting this out years ago, but other projects just kept presenting themselves and taking precedence. So this finally sees the light of day in June. I was surprised by the announcement, so soon after On Broadway (which is fucking great, btw). But, it was in the can.
I imagine his next album will come out before Election Day 2020. It will be his Angry Album.
