Me: Yeah. Why did Mom marry you?
Dad: Because I got her pregnant

Now, I have known this as long as I remember, but the way he said it today was just hilarious to me. I think it was because I wasn't expecting an answer.

BTW, I'm not a near-bastard child, it is my brother.
