I didn't see them at T&G, but I did see them on South Parade Pier in Southsea, Portsmouth in 1989, and they were every bit as wonderful as I hoped they would be.

guess i may have been taking them for granted. i used to have Twelve Point Buck but probably only listened to it once. i always figured they were just the midwest version of Flipper.

there are recordings of the killdozer/big black/scratch acid reunion shows at the touch&go 25th anniversary over at dimeadozen.
i'm somewhat hesitant to download them though. i'd definitely pay to go to those reunion shows (especially big black), but listening to a recording of one just doesn't really appeal... you just know that listening to big black in 2006 is going to be worse than recordings from 1986. |
