I don't have enough spare money to buy a 600 dollar guitar neck.
I've been experimenting with tuning each guitar string to a specific hz value instead of note values. So one string plays the chromatic scale, and the next string plays a microtonal note relative to each note of the chromatic scale. Has anyone else done this, and are their any websites about this? |

He doesn't explain how to do those tunings very well. If he gave hz notation it would be a lot easier.

Hz tone references Partch's 43-tone scale If you have the tone references and the ratios, and a calculator, you should be able to tune your guitar thiswise. I can't help but feel like you'd be better off with a fretless neck, however.

You could always buy a cheapie guitar or guitar neck and cut some scalloping into it.

I've been thinking about butchering a guitar for that very purpose. |

go fretless and you can draw frets on the neck that match your microtonal needs if you like. |
