Seriously. I can't drive to Dallas or Austin (7 hours each way). I can't afford the gas and my car is a piece of shit--I probably wouldn't make it. I could drive to Manchester and stay with friends in Nashville, but that's a 9 hour drive. I drove 4.5 hours to see SY in Cincinnati when I lived in Nashville. What really sucks is I'm going to be in Atlanta the weekend before SY for my brother's wedding. Fuck. OK, I'm done.

Council Bluffs is a shit hole, and playing Harrahs is quite a curious descion. I wonder why they didn't just book a venue in Omaha, considering the majority (most likely) of attendents will be from the Omaha/Lincoln area.

I was kinda curious about that myself. It would make more sense to have it there instead. But yea, it is a shithole. I've stopped there a couple times on the way to Omaha.

Hey Krastian and jennthebenn---do either of you know what's up with Allentown fair tickets? I'll be living close to the fairgrounds in the fall, so it would be a crime not to go. I couldn't find a site selling them yet, but then again Allentown is so badly organized that I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't on sale for awhile.
