Whilst having a drink yesterday with a friend i suddenly thought about Phileas Fogg crisps and how i haven't seen these anywhere for years now, do they still exist? Does anybody else remeber them?
I also remeber these but not sure if i liked them or not. Anyway i couldn't find a thread about retro foods so i thought i would start one. What crisps (chips) and sweets (candy) do you miss? |

I have a feeling that you can still get Slush Puppies. I think I'm gonna have to seek one out tomorrow. I'm in the mood to turn my lips blue.

Peanut butter Snickers were around for a few years, but are now discontinued. They were my favorite candy bar; I don't have a favorite anymore.
Sobe's now discontinued Green, or Mr. Green, soda was enjoyable. I'm not too sure why I liked it.. I think I had this before I tried any energy drink (other than Jolt, if that counts. Is Jolt still around?). It seemed to have some extra kick... |

what annoys me these days is the difficulty of finding a normal ice lolly, it doesn't seem like such things exist anymore, you've got all the cornetos and magnums, soleros, twisters, all the fancy shit, but basic walls ice lollies are nowhere to be found

Space fucking Raiders. Wham cunting Bars. That's the shit - if it cost more than 10p, I don't want to know.
Then again, conversations about retro foodstuffs are only marginally less tedious than conversations about 70's/80's kids TV shows... |

there is a nice candy store in Olinda, around the corner from the lacey antiquey fancy shop at the end of the road. http://www.ranges.com.au/sweetco/ And *Suga*, of course, but boiled sweets don't really do it for me..

ermm, there isnt really a candy bar that I miss, since really I was never a candy fan.
But.. I do love coconut ice, and salted licorice. Quality varieties of these two items can be found in the store posted above. hehehe.
