I looove video killed the radio star. I have no idea why
Radio Combodia is a Glassjaw song. But the song itself has nothing to do with radio |

For a very short time, LL did some great stuff, and this is one of his best.
Of course, World Domination Enterprises did a pretty good version. |

He's got three votes now. The first LL track I heard was 'I'm Bad', on John Peel's show. Good track; here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bA6ZXY7CAhI

I probably should have included 'Stereo' by Pavement.

Is it too obvious that I would take the Elvis Costello track? Thats not the only reason, its my favorite song from the list.
Hipster, I was making a Mix Tape with songs about radio (if you remember?), and while I haven't totally abandoned the idea, I have sort of lost inspiration. Maybe one of these trades will include this yet to be finished tape. Here are some songs you left off the list: XTC - Radios in Motion (surprised you left this one out, considering it was you who started the thread) Autograph - Turn up the Radio Change - Turn on Your Radio Elvis Costello - Radio Silence People Like Us - Dead Radio |

That's the first thing I thought of, too. God, now I need to drill a hole in my skull or something just to get that song out. |

Or "I heard it on the X" by ZZ Top? Or "God is in the Radio" by QotSA? Eh. I picked The Ramones. |

I have fond memories of lying in bed with the covers over my head, radio playing so no-one could hear, so "Do You Remember Rock 'n' Roll Radio" still speaks to me after all this time.
If The Selecter's "On My Radio" had been in the list, I'd have voted for that. |

I know that the word "radio" features many times in "Transmission", but I don't think the song's about radio. Is it?
