I dont know what its like in your area but around here in the music scene a lot of the bands are becoming screamo and thrash music. Back during the mid-90's we had an awesome sound of alternative rock.

they are either into eyeliner and iron maiden duel guitar leads or into being super progressive rock and being the biggest musos in the world

there are a couple of death metal bands that are incredible, though; like pulverized

at least yr town has a scene. there is one decent band in my town and they have nowhere to play.

yeah, same here in mexico city, a lot of backstabbing and selfishness happens so it's pretty much all against all and the club owners are dicks trying to screw people over for the most part.

Out where I live there are lots of Emo bands, metal bands and crust/oi punk type shit. It seems everything is either really sissy or really trying to sound tuff.

In the city of Sydney we have lots of good shit, ranging from noise and drone to really good girl/boy punk bands. Sydneys music scene is really good on an underground level.

Bands like Castings and Kiosk have had great reviews in the Wire but the local music media ignores them...
