I've been on the fence about a lot of his work. But I really like Bone Machine.
What do you think of Rain Dogs? To buy or not to buy... |

Bone Machine is the only recording of his I have been able to stomach.
Can't take that voice... I know a whole lotta people who worship this guy though, so I'm probably not the one to be posting here. |

Diamanda, Cave, Bell, Gloria Gaynor... I like Tom Waits. But not that much. I wouldn't call myself a fan. But he's good. Ish.

I like Real Gone and Bone Machine a lot. I haven't heard all of Rain Dogs, but the songs I have heard from it I like, same goes for Small Change.
I think Jean Pierre Jeunet should make a movie starring Tom Waits. Tom Waits music reminds me of the City of Lost Children. Tom Waits is so eclectic though that it is really hard to be a fan of his. I sort of hold myself as a gleeful listener. |

Tom Waits is truely great. Yes, Bone Machine is indeed an amazing album. Real Gone is awesome, too. I love his voice, very soothing and unique. Such a talented songwriter.
