Dom Joly, an ex-prankster extraordinaire (if you ignore that tedious mobile phone call thing).

I remember watching this when it was first on TV. I have the original VHS!
Genius. Do you watch Dom Joly's Happy Hour? |

I've seen that, but he lost his bite a little. I've also got the VHS box set, but i used to watch it when it was on tv too.

I loved "Trigger Happy TV" during its first season, its Tom Green and Jackass with much more imagination, but during the final season (3?) where they brought on different people it started to suck.

i agree with the jackass/green comment. it was on comedy central in the states and it was good while it lasted. |

When you look at the kind of stuff they have now like Balls Of Steel which seems to be solely aimed at pissing people off with no purpose at all, Trigger happy brings a smile to my face just because its such silly fun

I always wondered what the name of this show was. I really only remember that prank with the hedge maze. Strange stuff, really.

Whenever I see someone talking on a cell phone in public or when that certain ringtone goes off, this is all I can think about.

I've always loved the ones where they're in animal costumes.

What was the sketch which was always accompanied by Duran Duran's The Chauffeur?

From what I've seen, the American version isn't as good.
I feel snooty for saying that. |

You're right. Isn't it a shame that the phone got all the attention? Stuff like an unexpected marathon of mascots mowing down a suited businessman first thing in the morning, comeletely unawares. Incredible stuff. the phone? Meh. You have just made my day with those clips. I love the sombre music for some of them too. Wonderful. |
