Nah, you're not a bad person. I get high and listen to Fugazi too. Ian Mackaye has his own thing, and you have yours. Dont let other people tell you what to do.

You are just awful.
You shall recieve no kudos for your getting high, despite any ridiculously obvious threads you make. Drugs are bad, mmmkay? |

Since when do you have to be straight edge to listen to fugazi?
When interviewed by Billy Bob Hargus, Ian Mackayei said: PSF: How did the idea of 'straight-edge' come about? IM: It was just the title of a song that i wrote. I guess I coined the phrase but certainly never intended to start a movement. PSF: Do you still follow this? IM: I am still straight, but have never really been involved with the 'straight edge movement'. |

You're not a bad person at all. I wrote an exam and kicked Bekki and Billy's asses in war three times today while stoned (not that that takes much effort), and much much more. Soon I'll be making a cheat sheet for my math exam tomorrow (we're allowed cheat sheets haha) Point being , you can do pretty much anything stoned and it will not make you a bad person. If it does, then I'm the fucking Devil.

I think listening to Minor Threat and getting "fucked up" in some way would be more questionable, but still not wrong.

i don't condone drug abuse, but i certainly don't condone puritanism either. i just read the other day that mackaye was cracking jokes 2 years ago, which was quite unusual for him. i would not believe anything that a person without a sense of humor says. if it's true that mackaye never had one, i'd discard everything he ever preached before 2005? look: http://musical-guru.blogspot.com/200...-exhibits.html |

I'll just go ahead and quote this guy I know, pertaining to MacKaye and his indie cred/the reverence people have for him....
"MacKaye? Shut up, you were in Nig Heist." |
