nice. Nintendo has always been great I think. THe company never has been hostile to homebrewers n stuff. Hack'd and modded version of some of their games and they have never said "NO!". Smash:Project M and the modded mario levels are just off the top of my head....but motherfuckers have a great agenda...even though it might not be the best business model, which seems to be 'BE innovative'.

Exactly, Nintendo was a crown jewel of gaming precisely because from their very inception they tried everything they could to accommodate gamers. From those old school 1-800-hotlines they used to have, to allowing third-parties to publish cheat guides and walk throughs, to keeping everything user/hacker/DIY friendly.

Yeah...it's really sad to see them begin losing to this Gen's gamers. Nintendo puts out near perfect (new) games while other publishers are rehashing old titles. It's really made me hate current gen. They're starting to get better...but holy fuck was the ps3/xbox360 gen a terrible time for gaming. fucking dark ages.

I don't think Wii players are necessarily as "serious" of gamers as are other system users.. Also, it looks like a significant portion of Wii owners just use them for Netflix

not sure about that....but they are losing gamers. I think they've lost a buttload of money recently with the WiiU. |
