what kind of sports do you like? name some of your favorite teams also.
basketball: orlando magic and the denver nuggets. if the baltimore bullets were still around i would like them. baseball: baltimore orioles (they will be my favorite team of any sport until i die. i don't care how much they suck) soccer (football): i don't really have a favorite team. i just like to play it. tennis skateboarding i only like american football for the stats and to laugh at shitty teams like the dolphins. |

I love my hometown teams, the Houston Texans (american football) , the Houston Astros (baseball) and the Houston Rockets (basketball) and the houston Dynamo( soccer MLS)
I love the Olympics both winter and summer. love them dearly. hate waiting 4 years. I love the world cup. hate waiting 4 years. I love love love american football the most of anything though. I can watch any game at any time (professional that is NFL) with anyone playing. I fucking LOVE NFL football. I am an indie rocker, an art fag, avinyl nerd, a science uber-geek, and a passionate american football lover. I will kill you for the NFL.

baseball: washington nationals
hockey: washington capitals football: minnesota vikings (the redskins? hell no) other sports like golf, tennis, soccer, et al, i have no favorites i follow but just dig the events and games as a whole. i don't dislike the NBA but am not as big a fan as i once was; in college sports, i am behind Maryland 100%. they generally do me proud. i've done fantasy football for the last 2 years in rob's league, fairly kicking ass the whole time.

I've listed the sports leagues in order of importance and my favorites in each along with one somewhat lesser favorite. I do not follow the PGA, NHL, NASCAR, etc.
NFL AFC San Diego Chargers/Pittsburgh Steelers NFC Chicago Bears/Green Bay Packers (even though they are in the same division which is just not right) Farve is having such a year and Atari Bigby plays for 'em. And another NFC north team I like is the Vikings because Peterson rocked some fantasy points this year. Jackson is a horrible QB. ATP Tennis Roger Federer/Rafael Nadal (even though they are often rivals) NCAA Basketball North Carolina Tarheels/Virginia Cavaliers NCAA Football Georgia Bulldogs/Virginia Cavaliers UEFA Champions League AC Milan/FC Internazionale Milan NBA Sacramento Kings/San Antonio Spurs MLB New York Mets/Cleveland Indians |

my interest in sports has been waining in the last year, nearly across the board, whether it's greed, corporate marketing, cheating, regional bias, being unappreciated or just plain boring, but i just think i have held off long enough with this list

Cricket: Lancashire and England. Also Cheshire in the minor counties league, and I like to see Pakistan do well. I love the way Pakistan play cricket, and the Wasim Akram connection with Lancashire is a factor. For the veryu local stuff, BIrkenhead Park.
Some way after cricket: Soccer: Manchester City and my local side, Tranmere Rovers. Also Chester City, Preston North End and Northwich Victoria. For soccer teams from elsewhere, I try to keep track of Linfield (Northern Ireland, parental influence going on there), AEK Athens (Greece), Glasgow Rangers (Scotland) and FC Katowice (Poland). NFL: St Louis Rams and New Orleans Saints. Those are the only sports I really try to follow, although I sometimes watch badminton, snooker or ice hockey. Very occaisionally, tennis or golf.

nhl: calgary flames... fuck the ottawa senators
mlb: toronto blue jays, pittsburgh pirates nfl: pittsburgh pirates, denver broncos, and if toronto ever gets an nfl team i'll probably like them too nba: toronto raptors, any team steve nash is on because he's such a great guy, you know like the type of guy you just want to go down on, tom brady also falls into this category soccer: toronto fc, liverpool, Poland international tennis... don't really cheer for anyone but i watch it a lot. the U.S. open always provides classic match-ups which are always entertaining. like the night match with Blake and Agassi, that was so awesome |

Basketball is a top sport - NBA is anyway, not into the NBL - they don't even dunk it. We don't really get to watch much NBA over here though. Shame.
Don't mind me abit of cricket here and there. One dayers when they're nearing the end and it's a close match. Surfing is cool when you strip it back to just the surfing and not that commercial and surfer attitude/image that comes along with it these days.
